Valentine's Day in our family is about spending time together and celebrating love as a family.
I had told A the night before, "Tomorrow when you wake up, we'll make special cookies together." I woke up to A in my bed with the heart-shaped cookie cutter ready to go. Priceless! On our day of love, A and I baked heart shaped cut-out cookies. We made the dough from scratch and he had a blast measuring out the ingredients, pouring them in and watching my Kitchen Aid do the work (I just love that mixer)! Of course, we took breaks to feed C and for A to go potty. While A took a nap, I rolled out the dough, cut the cookies and baked them so A could decorate cooled cookies after his nap. Boy did he wake up excited to decorate! 1 problem - I had to feed C so he had to wait. A 2 year old waiting? Nope! I heard him in the kitchen but I wasn't sure what he was doing. I had heard the refrigerator door shut and wondered...I thought he had gotten his milk off of the shelf. To my surprise, A had gotten the powdered sugar out of the freezer and took the decorating into his own hands.....

Saber getting the good stuff!
