Friday, September 26 was my 29th birthday!
My birthday day: Scott took the day OFF and took A to get me donuts and flowers, my favorite! Sweet A came walking in to my bathroom and proclaimed, "It's your birthday today! Happy birthday Mommy!" with the biggest smile on his sweet little face! However, things started going south when I changed our plans at the last minute from the Dallas Zoo to go stroller skating...1) because it was supposed to be hot, hot and a level orange day...C had been on breathing treatments all week and 2) I wanted to spend some fun time with my girlfriends...it didn't pay off. Caleb fell asleep and slept for 3 hours! That never happens. So I thought I'd treat myself to a pedicure at Terrace Retreat, but they didn't have any appointments left when I called back to confirm. Boo! My boys came through. We loaded up and headed off to FreeBirds! Can't get enough of an old college fav! It ended up being a fabulous day!
Funny note: A kept wondering where all of Mommy's friends and cake were at her birthday party and when we were going to go. He didn't get that FreeBirds was the birthday! Ha!
Thank you boys and Scott for treating Mommy sweet! I love you!
