15 months!

January 2, 2009 ~ Happy New Year

Can you believe that 15 months ago I had a brand-new baby boy? That's right. C is 15 months! He is just precious and I don't know what I would do without him! I can't say that I wouldn't be busy because I absolutely would be! I'm a wife and a momma!

This past Friday (the 13th) the boys and I went to Dr. Shori for C's 15 month well visit. She said he was growing beautifully, was strong, had good muscle tone and smart. C was a champ! He received 2 shots and didn't hardly even wimper. He made a soft "Uh" sound and that was it! That was wonderful news since big brother has his 4 yr next month and is all of a sudden very aware of shots. So when C didn't cry a bit, A said, "See little brother? That didn't hurt. Did it momma? You were a good boy." Sweet, but we'll see his story next month.

So little C weighed in at 27 lbs, 14 oz (95%), 32 3/4 in tall (90-95 %) and head circumference at 18 1/2 in (50%). He is saying "Momma and Dada" but completely understands everything I say to him. It is so cute when he wants me to hold him or get him out of the highchair that he lifts his little arms up and looks at me with those sparkling blue eyes. When I say, "Let's go brush our teeth or go to the backdoor." he runs to the bathroom and climbs up on the stool or to the backdoor to the garage and starts knocking. He just listens to us talk all around him at to him. C will use his words when he is ready.

Right now he is more interested in keeping up with big brother phsically. He climbs on EVERYTHING! I really have to watch him because C is almost dangerous! If he can't reach something, he moves a chair and climbs up. He can open the oven and dishwasher....truly, I think I am raising Curious George! But a cute little monkey he is! I'm had when he flashes those big blues and that precious smile! Oh, and when he gives "the look" it is adorable. I will try to catch this on camera and share. I love my little C!
