Wanna get Away....

I think tonight SM and I could have starred in a Southwest commercial. Tonight at Bible study my dear C came through in flying colors. Curious George is just so curious and into everything. Honestly, I follow that child around constantly because he is into everything. Tonight was no exception.

I don't know what I was thinking but I actually sat down on the couch for a little girl-time conversation. C had just been over by me and had an empty cup that he was crunching up. He loves the sound. He ran off into the kitchen and I turned my attention back to the conversation. Shame on me.

I diverted my attention back to finding C when a loud crash and silence filled the room. He had pulled off Mrs. Jackie's doilie that had a beautiful collector's plate and mini hurricane lamp off and it shattered to the floor. Wanna get away?

So we are now looking for a signed, discontinued lovely piece from the "Welcome Home" series by Glenna Kurz. Ugg! I immediately fired up the ole laptop when we got home and actually located one....Calgary, Canada. Makes sense. I hope this sweet person that I emailed will get back to me and sell me this priceless "thing" for Mrs. Jackie. I say "thing" because she was so sweet. "Oh, it's just a thing." I'm sure no other precious had done this and I am the only one. Completely humiliated. So next week....monkeys must stay in the zoo while we go to Bible study. I know I'll get over it, but this was definitely a first for me.
